For hours and hours we walked around in Rotterdam, enjoying the sunshine and the weird buildings. And then, all of a sudden, it dawned on me: even though we were smack bang in the middle of the centre, walking along major roads, there were very few cars around.
Dear Brussels, when will you realise that you are absolutely choking on car traffic? That soon your arteries will clog, that nobody will be able to move around anymore, that breathing will become a health hazard? When will you learn from your smarter European sisters?
I don’t want to give up hope, but signs are not promising …
