So, continuing to upload pics from the trip. Vietnam, I’m sorry to say, was the place I least enjoyed on this trip. Maybe because of the bad timing (I was there in January = winter), or the fact that people were in general really pushy, aggressive in their commercial approach… Who knows. Some say the South is really nice but I was only in the North: I stayed a couple of days in the capital Hanoi (not particulary exciting), went to Halong Bay (beautiful, but slightly overexploited), and went to the mountain town of Sapa (one big cloud, freezing cold, horrible). So after ten days I escaped to Laos. And all problems were solved.
