It’s amazing how fast some people drive on the Autobahn. It’s amazing how German pedestrians just won’t cross a street when the light is red, even when there’s no car in sight for miles. It’s amazing how many different, alternative soft drinks there are as opposed to just Coke/Fanta/Sprite, often with really nice designs. (Pictured above: Lipz organic rhubarb soda, local drink from Leipzig.) Funny to see so many adults sipping all kinds of sweet fizzy drinks instead of beer/booze.
Ah, Berlin… And a mini tour to Dresden (posh) and Leipzig (punk) with my friends from The Dropout Patrol. Too much caffeine, sugar, cigarette smoke, way too many cotton tote bags (guilty as charged), and a massive sleep deficit. But hey, it was schön.
