On the road again AGAIN
America, the land of the free? I don’t know. What I do know, is that it is the land of a million rules, limitations, warnings, prohibitions … Everywhere you go, there are dozens of signs saying what you cannot do, what you should do, how you should do it, etc. Strangely enough, they seem to prefer fully spelled out words and sentences than pictograms. Near one of the ponds in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco was a sign with no fewer than seven rules for the usage of toy boats on the water. Seriously, by the time you’re done reading all of those, you probably can’t be bothered anymore.
The sign above, seen at the Columbia River Gorge visitor centre, was absolutely brilliant though. :-)
